Access to keypop requires account creation. We only collect strictly necessary data for account management and billing. No other personal data is collected.

keypop does not use any cookies, tracking tools, or intrusive advertising pixels. We do not track, store, or analyze your browsing behavior.

4. Prompts and User Content

keypop does not store or analyze your prompts or generated responses for its own use. - All prompts and responses are stored locally on your machine. - You retain full control and ownership over your data.

5. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

keypop offers two modes of AI operation: 1. **Local Mode (Recommended):** keypop uses models running locally on your machine (via Ollama). In this case, no prompt data leaves your computer. 2. **Cloud Mode (Fallback):** If no local model is configured, keypop relays your requests via our secure private server to the OpenAI API. Our server acts solely as a proxy to anonymize the request: we do not store any content (prompts or responses) on our servers during this transit.

6. Hosting and Security

Our account management infrastructure is hosted in the European Union with providers that are GDPR-compliant. We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data.

7. Data Retention

- Billing data is retained for 10 years, as required by French accounting and tax laws. - Your email address is stored only as long as your account is active.
